If there is a malfunction on the compressed air supply (distributer or cylinder), the nozzle may not retract upwards after blowing.If this is the case, the cam on the safety system raises the nozzle using the collar fixed onto it.

In the event of an incident, the cam raises the nozzle mechanically to avoid damage to any of the mechanical components.
