    Blowers Universal
  • O&U Themes Sustainability
  • Complexity2/3
  • Machine Sub-assemblyBlowing Station

Description
  • Dead space is the volume of air that is consumed and that does not take part of the bottle forming. It fills only the internal chamber of the nozzle cylinder and its size depends on the geometry of the parts.
  • Less blowing air consumption because internal dead space of the nozzle cylinder is reduced by half.
  • Applicability:
    • 40 mm diameter nozzle cylinder on Universal
    • 40 mm diameter on upgraded Series 2 with Universal blowing blocks. (Ref #970)

Key message
Reduce by half air wasted during blowing process

Machine application

Series 2

Universal

Benefits

Operating Cost reduction.

Reduce the volume of HP blowing air wasted by the dead space inside the blowing nozzle cylinder.
