The system comprises

-an extraction intake in the vicinity of the glue roller

-an air filtration chamber and a adjustable vacuum pump.

-The system extracts air from the area at which the glue is applied to the label. In this way airborne particles of glue and glue vapours generated in this area are removed with consequential reduced contamination of the vacuum drum.

-The control system can be set up such that the extraction is activated only at high speeds to minimize energy consumption and filter maintenance.

-Substantially higher operational speeds can be achieved without loss of machine autonomy

-Increased glue loadings can be applied without loss of machine autonomy

-Incorrect settings within the glue system will have less impact on machine performance
