The proposed solution consists of replacing the compressed air drive with a mechanical drive with a spring.In order to do this, the valve carriage is modified, removing all the seals on the sliding stem and then inserting the new stem and drive spring.This permanently eliminates the need to transfer lubricated oil to the filling carousel, for an OIL-FREE SOLUTION which is more hygienic and economical and easier to maintain.Briefly, the benefits are:No more compressed air.No air lubrication system.Less shutdowns for maintenance (every 4500h as compared to 2500/3000h for the previous system).Less complex maintenance (no need to replace filters, seals, etc.)The machine is on the whole more dependable.
