Description
The compressed air and the water required to spray the bottle bases are taken from the air and water regulation circuits.
When the spray cycle has been authorized by the logic controller (as soon as preform feeding has been authorized) the distributor and the solenoid valve allow the water and air to flow into their respective circuits. The regulator ensures that the spray pressure remains at 1 bar (reduced from the machine's 7-bar supply).
The air (1 bar) and the water are mixed in the "Spray Vector" and sprayed onto the bottle bases via the orifice in the base-plate.The collection circuit recovers condensates and clears them from the machine through the outlet-pipe.

Benefits
This option is designed to cool the bottle bases to prevent them from deforming as they are released from the hot molds.
The cooling system uses a water and air spray which is projected onto the bottle bases as they leave the molds.
Note: This option offers supplementary assisance to that of the HR option in providing protection againstthe effects of hot-filling or pasteurization on the bottles as they leave the machine.
