The latest Frequency Converter decentral drive generation has been designed with simplicity and robustness and offers significant advantages for multi-motor installations by mounting the drives close to the motors.

The frequency converter is designed to provide high shaft performance on electrical motors permitting a better “Inverter” management and preventive replacement of obsolete product.

It comes in a standard version (FC 301) and an advanced high dynamic version (FC 302) with additional functionalities. It helps save energy, increase flexibility, reduce costs related to spare parts and servicing, and optimize process control on any industrial machine or production line.

A gear motor is a specific type of electrical motor that is designed to produce high torque while maintaining a low horsepower, or low speed, motor output.

Gear motors are primarily used to reduce speed in a series of gears, which in turn creates more torque. Gear motor is a combination of asynchronous motor and reducer in a single solution. The engines we propose are updated to the efficiencies required by the various regulations of the countries.

Installation of a new “PLC” unit.

The system is designed for preventive replacement of obsolete product, better “PLC” management and easier future maintenance.

It is particularly suitable for activities with large amounts of data in the process industry.

Our latest product gamma upgrade the devices till the S7 standard, enabling the potential of manage and implement the new technologies, such as HMI’s or new I/O points.

In previous solutions, the interlayer storage unit was fixed to the floor.
Pads were manually loaded/unloaded by the operator during a machine stop.
The new configuration reduces machine stops, performing the interlayer storage system with 1 or 2 units
whatever the pads size type.
It is possible to use two units:
First unit is used to feed the machine; second unit is ready outside to be easily preloaded with a new stack reducing machine stops.
The module has adjustable guides for positioning each type of interlayer pads.

Before guides were assembled in packs.

The format change over was not quick.

The guides pack was heavy and could not be removed by only one operator. The system let to process only one format and in case of more bottle formats, a different guides pack is needed.

The new configuration avoids lifting the heavy load of the guides pack.

It decreases changeover time and needs only one operator presence.

Reduces the total of parts to be provided for the bottle format change.

The guides pack do not need to be removed during the changeover but just repositioned.

In the old configuration, customer has to check lubrication points at specific time and grease it manually.

Automatic greasing with pressure pump.

Greasing frequency and quantity set on the HMI.

The supply includes :

Installation of all dosing pumps and piping connection necessary for the greasing points on the specific machine.

Software update (Lincoln pump only).   

The two systems are designed to:

• grease “all” points in automatic mode.
• edit lubrication frequency and dosing set up from HMI (Lincoln pump ONLY).
• activate at any moment a machine lubrication cycle (Lincoln pump ONLY).

-The old device has a pneumatic TPE membrane air activated by a compression on the bottleneck which requires frequent replacements

-With the new device there is no membrane installed but « Fingers » with a pneumatic/mechanical functioning.

-The grip is on the bottleneck.

-It is more resistant to impact with bottle.

-Wide range grip diameter (ID= 35-42-48; OD= 52,5 - 58-65-72 mm).

Der ROBOSMART ™-Einlauf besteht aus einem Dosierband, einem flachen Fördertisch, Robotern (1 - 2 oder mehr) für die Lagenbildung und einem Flachkettentisch für den Lagenschieber. 

Die Roboter-Greifköpfe führen die Lagenmustervorbereitung durch (Position und Rotation).

The old interlayer dispenser rotates through a rod mechanism. There is no additional protection against the potential fall of the dispenser head, in case of breakage of the head-lifting belt.

In the new configuration, the column is coupled directly on the motorization with reduced backlash (precise rotation and positioning).

The arm is strengthened and it moves thanks to re-circulating ball guides, fixed into the aluminium column, thus highly reducing the rolling friction.

The arm movement occurs through a toothed belt equipped with a pneumatic safety system, that blocks mechanically the arm when the guarding is open or in emergency stop.  All dispenser arm movements are fully controlled by encoder and inverter. The max speed is 4.5 layer/1’

In the old configuration, the layer-guides quadrature is pneumatically activated requiring manual adjustment by the operator for each format change over.

In the new configuration, there are motorized guides on all three sides of the lifter and the encoder for positioning.

No manual/mechanical adjustments are necessary to change the format/layer thanks to the automatic function.

Less maintenance needed due to the belt transmission instead of the mechanical one.

The system, allows to accurately detect the height of the pallet to be processed in the machine. This avoids the problems associated with the frequent differences between one pallet and another one, avoids accidental impacts of the machine head during deposit phase and ensure further control on the raw materials.

-Smart HMI is a modular multi-touch interface designed for the operation of SIDEL machines. The user-centric application simplifies daily work with an easy-to-understand alarm and alarm system, contextual help and descriptions of descriptive and work processes. The HMI uses notifications and known operations from interaction with smartphones. All central parameters can be displayed quickly, via the header or in a more detailed synoptic view. Because the system supports all popular media formats, additional material (such as training videos or troubleshooting guides) can be made available through the HMI at any time.

Safety radar sensor SRE200 is an active protection radar system that monitors the dangerous area of a machinery with the goal to detect human beings. The sensors are FMCW radars (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) based on a detection algorithm that is used to detect movements and micro-movements, ignoring static objects. High availability are ensured even where there are external influences such as dust, dirt, rain, light, sparks or vibrations.

The new additional module saves time by automating and parallelizing the pad placement, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency of the palletization process.

The additional pad placing module places the pad on the empty pallet, while the main pad placer only needs to place the pads between the layers. In this way, the palletization process is not interrupted to allow the main pad placer to also place the pad on the empty pallet.
