-Dual pre-evacuation and bottle flushing system

-An initial pre-evacuation phase followed by a flushing phase. Followed by another pre-evacuation phase.

One Xenon Flash lamp of a length of 175 mm

A protecting quartz plate to protect the reflector from dust and water spoilage. This quartz plate is also used to guide the caps in front of the flash lamp

A water-cooled internal cap chute to guide the caps in front of the flash. This cap chute is extended inside the light proof optical cabinet by a stainless steel cap chute.

-Sidel's Sonic De-Foaming System is an alternative way of dispersing foam. It is economical and does not harm the environment. It employs high power ultrasound (HPU) technology

-The bubbles of foam are attracted and then destroyed  under the action of the compressive forces generated by the sound wave

-The new O/C mechanism, with a stainless steel inner part and plastic bushing, allows optimization of the filling valve functionality

-New materials used for the seal kit and bushing

The current solution with a fixed inlet/outlet transfer bottle guide increases risks of loosing bottles in critical areas.

The current solution without torque limiter may lead to costly repairs and machine downtime due to overloads.

The new solution proposes new command with torque limiter and longer shaft

New waterproof materials used for the seals enable product change without contamination risk

-For a can neck changeover, the parts to be substituted are: the valve bell and the dummy bottle seals.

-A size changeover (with a change in the can body diameter) involves a quick change of the centring unit with a corresponding reduction and substitution of the ejectors, the drive starwheel and the wormscrew.

-For a change in can height it is necessary to substitute the filler spacers so that they match the can dimensions. For cans with a height of more than 115 mm it will also be necessary to insert a third starwheel element

-the skid allows to totally recover the water used for washing the caps

-the wash water is recovered in tanks and sent to the skid

-the skid retrieves chlorinated water, the water is filtered, sent into the recirculation loop and in chlorinated again to reach the required percentage

-In the previous solution speed and position were read by the software

-The new solution with the Phoenix system allows a greater safety, speed and position are read by an encoder

The current crown chute has a more complex constructional geometry, the cleaning of the chute requires greater care.

The performance of the current chute with vibrator foresees 1/10,000 cap jam.

In case of crown stoppage the channel cannot be opened; so it is necessary to empty it, removing the caps blocking.

The new crown chute has been designed to optimise the cleaning operations, making it easy to inspect thanks to the simple geometry

-The UPS (Uninterruptible Power System) isolates the load from the AC mains supply, protecting it from voltage drops, spikes, transients, RFI and frequency variations. In the event of total or partial AC mains power failure, the UPS will continue, without interruption, to provide power to the load from the sealed battery.

-Equipment authonomy depend on battery capacity and output load

-When the AC mains supply is restored, the UPS automatically recharges the batteries, ready for any power failure emergency.

-New design of the lower manifold with new gaskets and sliding rings

-the sliding seal has been replaced by a dedicated labyrinth.

-To reduce the top load working on the manifold rotary union (RU), an additional supporting unit has been introduced to unload the weight of the full piping

-The new system consists of Danfoss FC302 converter with the new MCO305 card embedded.

-The MCO305 controller extends the frequency converter functions for synchronization application.

-To be evaluated case by case the need of PLC module replcm.

-In the current IrDA systems (with internal or external Master Card), can occur issues for obsolescence with the Master and Slave cards and with some HMI.

-The new Matrix system, with new components and a new RS485 connection instead of the previous IrDA communication, increases functionality and improves the control of the valve.

-The seamer supply consists of the infeed table for can ejection system (including new lateral guides, can guide, connection parts).

-The filler supply consists of: can ejection system (pneumatic ejector, pneumatic modification and wire electrical material), software modification, documentation update.

-Test bench made of stainless steel frame, frontal access panel in LEXAN, removable panels in stainless steel, easy access to the work area.

-This bench allows quick and fast removal of the tested filling valves, comfortable access for maintenance and has fast connections to pipe circuits by means of clamps.

-To reduce the time for passing informations between the operators during the shift change, the new alarm management has been implemented on the operator panel. The new HMI alarm management is independent from the current HMI.

-The new HMI mainly has in addition: the alarms historical data, the alarms OPL (that allows operator to know how reacting to the alarms) and the counters (that take into account the difference between the production hours and running hours).
