One of the current filling valve membrane functionalities is to close the valve, so the wear and tear level of this membrane impacts on filling level reliability

-The new plunger design, significantly lightened, improves the valve performance in the transitory phases of opening and closing. The new geometry of the plunger prevents the deformation of the valve body.

-The innovative eccentric terminal allows filling with a laminar flow, creating less bubbles during filling. Moreover, it allows a precise and clean direction of the product jet, preventing leakages during the filling phases.

-The proposed solution consists of replacing the compressed air drive with a mechanical drive with a spring

-The valve trolley is modified, removing all the seals on the sliding stem and then inserting the new stem and drive spring.

-The automatic lubrication system eliminates the risk of moving parts on the filler which have not been lubricated, thus fully complying with the manufacturer’s instructions.

-The system is managed by the machine PLC which lubricates various points on the machine at preset intervals on the basis of machine rotation time.Manual lubrication can be performed in the event of a PLC fault.

A precisely timed drop of liquid nitrogen is dosed into the headspace above the beverage in a bottle/can after filling and before sealing/capping. The cold liquid nitrogen (-196°C) turns into nitrogen gas at room temperature and expands rapidly. Since the bottle is capped at a certain time after dosing, this process creates a defined internal pressure in the bottle/can.

The Nitrodose system has been developed to meet these requirements and to cut cost at the same time by providing a precise charge of liquid nitrogen.

-The current solution with valve body and plungers was designed to limit foaming on the neck.

The current solution allow to fill bottles with 38 mm neck finish.The new solution proposes neck 33/12 with new design of grippers to improve stability.

-The purpose is to give customers the possibility to reuse the water used to rinse bottles instead of throwing it away.

-The recovered water can be used as service water (e.g. washing of machines) or reconditioned via active carbon installations. It cannot be reused as process water because the recovered water contains traces of peracetic acid (PAA).

-The life span of the current grippers may be limited by bushings and spring wear, which can cause incorrect bottle transfer and fallen bottles during production.

-The new grippers are designed to have a longer life span, with large plastic bushings, a more robust closing spring and a new profile of the clamp and of the bottle support.

A mechanical agitator is used to maintain the product in motion in order to prevent pulp accumulation on the bottom.
